Social Media Strategy

Through a successful strategy that involved producing bespoke video content, I was able to help JLL achieve incredible brand awareness and lead generation in both the launch of their TikTok platform in Summer of 2023, as well as governance of their existing Instagram feed.

Brand awareness through GIPHY and Social Media

As a content creator, I’ve found huge success in terms of social media marketing and audience engagement through GIPHY’s API feed, creating branded Stickers for use in Instagram stories.

Originally launching in August 2018, the first brand I implemented a GIPHY Brand Channel for hit 60 million total views by the time of the company’s acquisition in November of the same year (where it now sits at over 230+ million views, with the new owners following on from that success).

Another brand found HUGE success after a single Sticker GIF (that featured their logo) hit ‘trending’ on GIPHY, culminating in a total of 170+ million views on JUST ONE GIF.

Why GIFs over other content?

GIFs, and Stickers most notably, have two fantastic advantages:

1. They’re cheaper to produce than other formats of media.

2. They’re extremely shareable through multiple social media platforms.

What’s great about having Branded Stickers for both Instagram and Snapchat stories, is that not only can they really enhance your own Stories, but if they’re designed well enough - other people will use them and advertise your brand without even realising it.

Outside of Instagram and Snapchat, the same Stickers can be integrated into applications like Slack messenger, and even just simply used in email marketing as well, as part of the message.
